Thank you

It's the last day of our Write On groups for this term and year and I of course want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been part of it. Tracey Hopkins, thank you for all your encouragement and support.  I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you. To all the families and parents who came and celebrated with us today, thank you! It was so nice to share your child's learning with you and show you how amazing they have been. Lastly and of course not least to my students. You guys and girls rock!!!! You have been so so great to teach and learn with and I have loved sharing in your creative writing journey.  I appreciate all your hard work and willingness to share your ideas with me and your peers. You have all done so well. I will miss not having my Mondays with you all but know I will see you around school. Keep on writing as you never know I where it may take you.

Dream big, imagine anything is possible and magic is anywhere you want it to be.

Write On Graduation. Next week!

Willy Wonka Day

Yes it was Willy Wonka day today and we had the exciting challenge of inventing our own tasty sweet treat.

We had giant lollipops with many different flavours, colours and textures.

We had multilayered chocolate bars with a crackle and a pop.

We had gobstoppers that never ended.

It was all a little bit wacky but wonderfully Willy Wonka.

After a few technical glitches...

After a few technical glitches I would like to share yesterday's topic.

This week we had a form to fill out as our starter for our story writing. We used the starter words and followed on with our thoughts and ideas. We then chose one of the phrases and wrote our stories. Attached is the form to be filled out. If you want to see what the students shared and wrote about then please do pop into our class and look through our books.

Also the display in the office has been upgraded and is all about LOVE! From last weeks work. Tissues may be needed :-)

Love is all you need......

All you need is love was our topic today as we talked about meaningful writing. Some wrote about their parents, others their pets and some even wrote about their grandparents. Have a read below of the lovely writing some students did.......you might need a tissue or two :-)
