Share a sport or game that you know or invent a new one. 

Today was sports and games day and to celebrate this we had yellow and red cards in class that had us doing exercises and running between our writing spurts. 

For our writing task some students wrote about their favourite sport or game and shared all their facts that they knew about these. Others got a little more creative and invented their own sport or game.

 The classes were full of excitement and anticipation for finding out the winner was intense. The two Monday groups were busting to know who won the MKR CHALLENGE.

MKR DAY

Today was MKR Day and class was bubbling over with salivating menu's, mouth watering group discussions and sensational presentations. 

The judging has gone out to some famous chefs of the world and the results will be announced next week in class. There is only one winning team per class and that team is the one who presents a menu of foodie excellence and tasty treats that has Manu licking the sauce off his plate at the end.

The Tuesday gang

Today was a busy morning full of fun and a little flibbitygibit but once we got into our writing there were some awesome work done. The students had many ideas about what made them happy and what they liked. Check out the wall in the office for some of their work :-)

Because I'm happy....

Today was all about being happy happy happy and to celebrate happiness we wrote about what makes us happy and did some happy poems. We talked about things and people that make us happy and how we can help make others happy. We had many ideas about happiness and what it means and some great conversation around the concept of being happy.

The students then did their own PicCollage designs to put on the blog. Check out their work below.
